What’s new in Folio.

Newest first. We write changes down plainly, so your team knows what moved and when.

Founding releaseNew
  • One library for every teaching, with its transcript, source, campus and progress. Add teaching from YouTube channels and playlists, podcast feeds, web pages, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Vimeo, SoundCloud, Mixlr, Facebook, Telegram, Zoom, S3-compatible buckets, or an upload.
  • Notes and review: study notes, discussion guides, devotionals, blog posts and newsletters, drafted in the church’s voice and approved by staff before they are published. Automatic approval is optional and off by default.
  • Ask, answered only from a church’s approved teaching, with the sermon and verse beside each claim. A question that suggests a crisis shows the church’s helplines and contacts and alerts the team.
  • Scripture, showing what a church has taught on any chapter, oldest first, with replaced and withdrawn teaching marked plainly.
  • Folio Live in the web console: send a service from OBS or any RTMP or SRT encoder, watch live captions, and see the verses the preacher reads or names. A Sunday plan holds the run of show. A desktop booth app is coming later.
  • Shareable pages for a note, an answer, a verse or a series, and the same approved notes in members’ email.
  • Website widget showing only approved material, with a way to send a question to the pastoral team.
  • A scoped API with signed webhooks and an OpenAPI document.
  • A 14-day trial for every new church, with no card. When it ends without a plan the church becomes read-only; nothing is deleted or charged.
  • Data controls: retention windows, data export, and church deletion with a 14-day grace period. Support access is granted by an owner and expires.
  • Per-church access: some sources and features are switched on for a church on request.
